Find your flavour

Four ways
to love water.

Bright, clean and low in sugar — every Hydralyte flavour carries the same balanced five-mineral profile and 500 mg of vitamin C. The only variable is which one you reach for.

The range

Same science. Four personalities.

Every flavour below mixes to the identical 500 ml serve — sodium 105 mg, potassium 180 mg, 500 mg of vitamin C, low sugar — and every one comes in all five powder and tablet formats. What changes is the glass in front of you: how sweet, how sharp, how cold it reads. Use the tasting notes, then jump to the format you need.

Hydralyte Orange Blast 20 g stick sachet in a burst of orange juice and fresh orange segments

01 · The classic

Orange Blast

Bright, rounded orange up front — closer to a fresh-pressed juice than a fizzy-drink orange — with a gentle tang that keeps it from turning syrupy. It finishes clean and faintly mineral, which is why it works just as well from a fridge as from a site tap in July.

Best moments

  • First bottle back at the car after the gym
  • The default family jug
  • Long drives with the AC fighting 45°C

Hydralyte Lemon Lime 20 g stick sachet in a burst of lime and lemon slices

02 · The refresher

Lemon Lime

Sharp lemon zest first, then a rounder lime note that softens it — a homemade lemonade that stopped just short of sweet. Of the four it reads coldest on the tongue and cleanest at the bottom of the glass, so it is the one people reach for when it is too hot to want anything sugary.

Hydralyte Pineapple 20 g stick sachet in a burst of pineapple juice and chunks

03 · The crowd-pleaser

Pineapple

Golden, juicy and unmistakably tropical — ripe pineapple with a light tartness underneath so it never sits heavy. The sweetness is rounder than in the citrus flavours, which is why it is the one the whole table agrees on, and it keeps its character even when mixed a little weaker for children.

04 · The summer one

Watermelon

Light, juicy watermelon with a cool, almost cucumber-fresh edge and just enough sweetness to taste like fruit rather than candy. It is the least tart of the four and the most refreshing when the glass is properly cold — the flavour of choice for summer events, camps and after-school sport.

What’s inside

Every flavour, the same backbone.

Flavour is the only variable. Whichever you pick, the serve carries the same five essential minerals, the same 500 mg of vitamin C, and low sugar. Numbers below are per mixed 500 ml serve.

Why the formula never changes with the flavour

Most flavoured drinks change more than the taste: sugar, acidity and colour shift from one variety to the next, and the nutrition panel shifts with them. Hydralyte is built the other way round. The electrolyte base — sodium at 105 mg, potassium at 180 mg, with chloride, calcium and magnesium completing the sweat profile — is one recipe, and 500 mg of vitamin C sits on top of that base in every pack. Orange Blast, Lemon Lime, Pineapple and Watermelon are flavoured versions of an identical serve, so choosing between them is purely about what you want to drink at 2 pm in a hot car park, not about which one “works better”. That consistency matters in practice: a site can rotate flavours through a welfare station without changing the serve, a family jug can switch every week, and the numbers on the science page stay true whichever pack is open. The same serve carries across every format — stick, mini, tube, jar and pouch — and into the VitaSport+ ready-to-drink line, which keeps the five minerals and vitamin C without the mixing.

Questions, answered

Flavour questions, answered.

Do the flavours contain sugar?

Every flavour is low in sugar, and there is no sugar-heavy variant or separate “diet” variant — the four differ in taste only. Whichever you choose, the mixed 500 ml serve carries the same five minerals and 500 mg of vitamin C.

Which flavours are suitable for kids?

All four mix to the same gentle, low-sodium serve, so any flavour works; children from around four years can have half a 250 ml serve. Watermelon and Pineapple are the two children usually ask for by name. If your child has a medical condition, check with your paediatrician first.

Can I mix it weaker or stronger?

Mix to the ratio on the pack — 20 g per 500 ml, 10 g per 250 ml, one tablet per 250 ml — for the intended serve. Mixing weaker is fine for a lighter taste or for children. Mixing stronger only concentrates the flavour and the minerals; it does not make the serve work harder. Cold water suits every flavour.

Which flavour is best in the heat?

Whichever one you will actually finish — the serve is identical across all four. On the sites we supply, Orange Blast tends to disappear first, Lemon Lime is the one people describe as tasting coldest, and Watermelon is the summer-event favourite. Pick by taste; the hydration is the same.

Is every flavour available in every format?

Yes for the powder and tablet range: the 20 g stick, 10 g mini stick, 20-tablet effervescent tube, 200 g jar and 800 g pouch each come in Orange Blast, Lemon Lime, Pineapple and Watermelon. The VitaSport+ ready-to-drink bottles are a separate line with their own three formulas — Ignite, Defence and Perform — described on the VitaSport+ page.

Can’t pick one?

The Summer Starter Kit carries all four — jar, tube and sticks in one box, so the whole household finds its flavour.
